Colchuck Peak/East Route

We started out Sunday May 22, 2016 at 5:15 a.m. in good conditions. We reached the summit at 12:15, we spent 45 minutes summit lounging and returned to the cars at 6:15 p.m. We were on solid firm snow begining at Colchuck Lake. Crampons were needed on the upper end of the col on the way up and down. The temperatures and weather were perfect and the route is in great shape. 13 hours car to car.
