Colchuck & Dragontail Peaks

Lovely 2 day trip to Dragontail via Pandora's Box.  Hiked in (from Bridgecreek as the gate was closed) and camped at the far side of Colchuck Lake. Some snow on the trail. Soft snow  around the lake. Left camp at 515 am as temps were warming. Crampons up Colchuck and around and up to Pandora's Box. Opted to wrap around left on snow (good lead by Doug Sanders who set up a hand line) at Pandora's Box and up easy rock gully to the ridge. Ran the ridge (and below as needed) on rock and snow to the summit. Aasgard Pass is mostly snow.  Very soft on the way down but still happy we did not bring snowshoes.  Gate was open when we got to the TH. Our drivers were able to hitch a ride down to the cars and bring them up to the group.
