CHS 1 Hike - Lookout Mountain Forest Preserve
Not many travelers for a Sunday morning. Birds sang to us along the trail and a Barred Owl spotted next to the trail to showing off their quiet beauty. Lots of wildflowers spotted by our naturalist hikers.

- Road suitable for all vehicles
All season hike with well maintained trails and good signage. Good parking at 8 am. Not as many hikers as we would have expected. Good group mix with lots of great conversation and laughter.
