Trip Report

Boston Harbor Vicinity

8/13/14. This evening we paddled the eastern Budd Inlet shore line to Gull Harbor. There was a light westerly blowing for much of the evening, but inside the inlet all was quiet & serene. We explored all three lobes within the Gull Harbor, observing eagles & king fishers, and paddling among the standing trees of the ghost forest. The 16' high tide provided an opportunity to enter the Burfoot Park lagoon as we paddled back to Boston Harbor.
