Beginner Snowshoe - Reflection Lakes

while the weather was questionable, it was just the two of us in a winter wonderland.

  • Road suitable for all vehicles
  • Entrance gate ranger did not ask about tire chains. road was wet, but only occasional ice/slush on roadway to Narada Falls parking lot.snow covered parking lot but with tire tracks visible. Weather stopped raining once we started on trail up Paradise Creek. Overcast skies most of the day with some sun breaks, followed by snow showers. Trail partially covered by new snow so it was like walking on new snowfall. We could see where the previous 'rut' was so that is where we stepped. Did not encounter another person all day until we were back at the vehicle. Ate quiet lunch in the sun while at overlook of Reflection Lake. Road going out of park was either just wet or dry, no snow or slush.
