Easy to find the road to the trailhead, a few potholes here and there, but not extreme. Encountered snow about a mile before trailhead, but easy going until just before "lower parking". I had snow tires and 4wheeel drive to get to the upper parking area. with the snow melting, especially in the afternoon, a bit more challenging.
Snow on the road/route all the way with a few patches of bare ground beginning to peek out from under the snow near the parking area. Sky was overcast with a couple of sun breaks.
