Basic Snowshoe - White Road

Good basic snow shoe for beginners. Snow is passable.

  • Road suitable for all vehicles

  • Roads clear, parking lot clear. 

About 7 miles out and back. Minimal but steady elevation gain. Snow was crunchy in shady spots and "Seattle cement" (wet and heavy) in Sunny spots. No snow on trees. Saw only 2 other snow shoe people and 2 on nordic skis. Clouds and weather moving in when we left. Take layers. 

We used snow shoes and sunk in a few spots. Should be viable for a couple more weeks.
