Basic Glacier Climb - Mount Olympus/Blue Glacier

Uneventful and lovely hike to glacier meadows over 2 days. Climb on day 3, and hike out day 4. To access Blue Glacier, hike up the moraine until you see a cairn on the right and a boot path moving left down the moraine. This leads to a sketchy anchor around 2 boulders with a hand line that drops to the Blue Glacier. We used the hand line down and back up and it held. 

Once up to Snow Dome, we went up via Crystal Pass and crossed a snow bridge. Unlikely to last more than a couple of weeks. 

Climbed the NW side of the summit block. Short class 3 scramble with very solid rock to a short pitch of 5.4, used 4 cams. Solid anchor at top, and rappelled down the N face to snow. 

Returned via same route.
