Basic Alpine Climb - South Early Winter Spire/Southwest Couloir
Climbed the snow gully, and descended the south ridge. Wore crampons from car to summit. Post hole conditions for the hike down. 11 hrs RT with 5 basic course students.

Wore crampons from car to summit. Good snow conditions in the gully, with a short section of icy rock. Descent via south ridge.
Observed ice in the chimney on the south ridge 2nd pitch. Post hole conditions for the hike down. 11 hrs RT with 5 basic course students.
