Banks Lake

  • Sea Kayaking

Definitely a fall paddle. Cooler temperature and warm water make it a perfect destination when it is raining West of the passes. The North end of Banks lake is far more interesting to paddle than the South end. The most interesting areas to paddle and camp are the NW or Steamboat Rock State Park. Lovers lane, Old Devils Lake and Barker Cove have no-fee campsites, rocks and trails to hike and explore. The paddle from Osborne Bay South to Kruk Bay is OK. Discover Pass is needed to park at Osborne Bay boat launch.
