Bald Rock

For trip on 4/25/2015, marginal forecast, but worst part was negotiating Cayuse Pass in the wee hours on the drive over with a bit of on the road. Cloudy day limited the views, but very little precip and a bit of sun here and there. Recent thin covering of snow on the vegetation all the way up to the ridge at ~5000', with continuous snow just below the summit. In the interest of achieving a 'snow scramble' we followed the ridge crest W to reach lots of snow on Cowlitz Crest. Followed the crest S (with Wonderland Trail buried below us) to reach junction with Olallie Creek trail back to our cars. Total time was ~7 hours, but extended the trip by ~0.5 mile to visit Silver Falls:
