Backpack - Sheep Lake & Nannie Ridge

In an earlier report of this activity, I forgot to mention an 'incident'.  While preparing to cook dinner Saturday night, one participant a 'flame out'. Fire erupted as she tried to put her stove together - a can of pressurized gas with a burner unit on top. Somehow flames erupted and she dropped the unit, and flames quickly flared up on the ground and around one side of a large log. Another participant quickly responded and kicked the can unit away from her stove, and also put the fire out. It was over in about 10 seconds.

No burns were reported by anyone. a lot of theories were mentioned as possible causes, but none seemed to answer the questions as to what caused the sudden fire.
