While it's extremely early, encountered many blow down's along the route. Nothing hard or difficult in my opinion. The snow bridges were another story. Some to weak to chance. Snow is melting out nice, but still present from Elk Pass to Cispus Pass at an elevation of 5,900' and up. Slowed the pace down a bit with all the snow, especially on the traverses.
Had an amazing time with the dog on the trail. Almost all of it to ourselves. Snowy Mountain was foggy in on Monday as we trekked thru. It's early, so I envision the trail will be cleared and maintained shortly. Lots of wildlife to view, deer, elk, marmots, bear tracks.
