Alpine Scramble - Tokaloo Rock & Aurora Peak

A great trip, weather was comfortable, a cooling mist at times keep us cool and enhanced the views. Followed standard route for Andrew and Tokaloo, 10 hours bike to bike with plenty of summit time.

  • Road suitable for all vehicles

  • A bridge is being installed on the West Side road, all trails were in great condition. 

GPS reported mileage was 13.2 on foot, 8.5 on bikes, 6027' of elevation gain.  We left Round Pass on foot at 8:50 AM and were into the off trail portion by 11:30 AM.  Standard route on both peaks, we were able to pump water at the base of Andrew, not sure how long that will last.  Very little snow on route.  The most dangerous part of the trip is the bike ride/coast down from Round Pass. Strong group of scramblers!
