Alpine Scramble - Rattlesnake Mountain Grand Traverse
As a rainy day was forecast, the trip was changed from a scramble of Yellow Hill/Elbow Peak to a Rattlesnake Mountain grand traverse hike, from Snoqualmie Point to Rattlesnake Lake.

From shortly after Grand Prospect to a little before the East Peak, the route is diverted to a road through the extensive, new clear cut. The way is marked by signs. Blow down is accumulating where the trail passes near the edge of the clear cut as wind is knocking down the newly exposed trees.
The umbrella is a truly wonderful invention for hiking on a rainy day.
