Backdoor trail to Lake Lillian is snow and mud free.
The forest road has deep potholes. It's probably passable by a regular car, but a high clearance vehicle is best.
We turned around after a nice hike to Lake Lillian. A late start, clouds on the summit, and a desire to avoid hiking down the steep trail in the dark led to the decision to turn around.
