Alpine Scramble - Old Baldy Mountain

Nice view of Enumclaw and Buckley, which made up for the clouded-over view of Rainier itself.

  • Trip was originally posted for Scarface, but we changed it due to wild fires in the east.

"100 Peaks" route description is accurate. We traversed at around 5000', which went well. The forest was pretty dense from the jeep road to 5000'. It would not be any fun if it was raining. One person was stung by bees on the trail and one person was stung on the summit. But overall, they were not a big issue
