Alpine Scramble - Mount Baldy
With rain and wind in the forecast we changed the destination from Vets Peak in the North Cascades to Baldy (Easton).

Trail is in good shape. Some blow down has yet to be cleared on the upper ridge.
Baldy offered a reasonable goal in foul weather, with a trail to avoid wet brush, trees to offer some wind protection. and a summit to attain. We gained 3,500' in 6:30 hours of travel. There's still a good display of flowers in the higher meadows.
