Alpine Scramble - Lookout Mountain

Party of 4 summited Lookout Mountain in North Cascades on 11/11. We hiked first 4000 ft and decided to turn it into a proper scramble and bush whack steep terrain up to the lookout for the last 500 ft. Great day: no rain, better than expected visibility and really warm for November. No snow except a few insignificant patches on the summit. We were able to open the unlocked lookout door, grab some chairs and enjoy gorgeous views while eating our lunch on the deck. Round trip total duration was 6 ½ hours including long lunch break. Great day out!
