No ice axes needed. Aasgard pass is snow free, but still tedious to ascend/descent. Plenty of snow around and covering the higher elevation lakes.
Trip Date: 08/07/2016. Party size: 3. Departed Stuart Lake TH at 6:45 AM. Followed trail up and over Aasgard Pass to just past Isolation Lake. Ascended north slope of Little Annapurna. Skirted some snow on the way up. Brought ice axes and crampons but did not need either. Lots of clean rock slabs to scramble and hike up. On the summit enjoying the views from 1-2 PM. Back at the TH: 7:15 PM.
