After turning off to Guye Peak at the saddle, we came to the small pond and went climbers right for a more ambitious snow scramble. Our hard earned summit was a viewless summit; missing views of any nearby mountains and the reputed "one of the best vertigo spots" - being the the drop-off from the Guye Peak to the southwest. Undaunted and still in high spirits, half of the hearty crew dawned rain pants for a couple short glissade stretches.
