Alpine Scramble - Camp Muir & Anvil Rock
We scrambled only to Anvil Rock. Good views of the great glaciers of Mt Rainier made this scramble stand out.

Some fog down low but excellent visibility up higher. Snow gave good traction and remained reasonably cohesive in the afternoon.
No lack of people on the route, but nowhere near as many as I'd anticipated. The sense of great open spaces and the immediacy of the mass of Mt. Rainier was impressive.
