Yelm-Tenino & Creekside Trails

The Yelm-Tenino Trail is a paved path between Yelm and Tenino and passing through the town of Rainier. The easy, 3.3-mile loop staring on the Yelm-Tenino Trail in Tenino City Park and returning by the unpaved, wooded Creekside Trail is a great hike.

On the Trail

Yelm-Tenino & Creekside Loop

3.3-mile loop, 245 feet of elevation gain

This loop begins in Tenino City Park and follows the Yelm-Tenino Trail east. The route turns south  at Chruchill Road and follows the wooded ans secluded Creekside Trail, and old dirt and gravel logging road, back to Tenino City Park.

Yelm-Tenino Trail

Up to 29 miles round trip

The Yelm-Tenino Trail, a former railroad route, runs 14.5 miles between Yelm and Tenino. Trailheads are in Yelm, Tenino, and the town of Rainier. Start from any of the trailheads and travel as far as desired. The Yelm-Tenino Trails also connects with the Chehalis Western Trail.
