Tumac Mountain & Twin Sisters Lakes

Hike to lakes or a mountain just south of Bumping Lake in the William O. Douglas Wilderness. It's up to 15.1 miles round trip and 2,400 feet of elevation gain.

Getting there

From SR 410, 19 miles east of Chinook Pass, turn south onto Bumping River Road (Forest Road 18). Continue on paved road for 11 miles. After 11 miles where the paved road turns right and heads toward Bumping River Damn, stay straight and drive on Forest Road 1800 for 2.6 miles. Then turn left onto Forest Road 1808 and follow until it ends at the Deep Creek Trailhead and a small campground (4,300 ft).

Besides these, there are several out-and-back and loop trip options from  the Deep Creek Trailhead and many lakes to visit along the way.
