Oxbow Lake Loop

A short hike with views and riverfront access to the Middle Fork Snoqualmie River with impressive views of Russian Butte. It's 2 miles round trip and ~100 feet of elevation gain.

getting there

Take Exit 34 off of I-90 and turn left onto 468th Ave SE. In 0.6 miles turn right onto SE Middle Fork Road and drive 2.1 miles, stay right at the fork and drive over the bridge spanning the Middle Fork Snoqualmie River. In 2.0 miles past the bridge on the right is a small parking area with space for 2-3 cars and the trailhead on the right (900 ft). Continue past here 0.2 miles to a large parking lot (900 ft).

on the trail

Hike the short trail around Oxbow Lake and take the short spur to the river's edge and enjoy views of the river valley. Note that a 0.2-mile connector trail leads from the large parking lot to the small parking lot and trailhead.
