Kent Station, Mill Creek Canyon & Scenic Hill

Hike a loop from Kent Station through Mill Creek Canyon Earthworks Park to reach the Scenic Hill neighborhood. The trail descends back to downtown Kent alongside Woodland Way.

Drive to or take transit to Kent Station at 417 Ramsay, Kent, WA 98032.

On the Trail

Walk from Kent Station to Mill Creek Canyon Earthworks Park. Hike north the the Scenic Hill neighborhood on the newly renovated dirt trail that is steep in parts and muddy in places, but travels through deciduous forest not typically associated with an urban area. Walk the trails and sidewalks along Woodland Way and Reiten Road traveling through historic downtown to return to Kent Station.

Notes

  • It is also possible to park in Mill Creek Canyon Earthworks Park, but parking is limited, and the walk through historic downtown Kent is a nice addition to this hike.
