Participate in exploratory survey hikes with naturalist and photo opportunities at all three units of John Day Fossil Beds National Monument in north central Oregon. Enjoy spring wildflowers, geology, paleontology, a few reptiles and other fauna on hikes at Painted Hills, Blue Basin and Clarno. Visit paleontology exhibits at the Thomas Condon Paleontology Center and sites at all three units.
