Goat Mountain & Deadman's Lake
A hike of 11.2 miles round trip with 2,400 feet of elevation gain just north of Mount St. Helens.
Getting there
From Randle on US-12, follow SR-131 south for 2 miles to where it becomes Forest Road 25 and continue for 6.7 miles. Just after the bridge over the Cispus River, turn right onto paved but rough Forest Road 26. Drive for 12.3 miles, turn right onto Forest Road 2612, and continue for 0.3 mile to the trailhead (2,950 ft).
