Goat Mountain (Baker Lake)
A moderate winter scramble near Baker Lake, Lake Shannon, and Concrete n the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest.
getting there
Drive SR-20 to Concrete, turn north onto N Superior Ave, and continue north as it becomes Burpee Hill Rd. Just past Lake Tyee, turn left onto Baker Lake Rd, and drive to the trailhead, parking along the road near the Grandy Lake Campground (850 ft).
approach & ascent
Hike north ascending the logging road and follow various unnamed logging roads until reaching the southeast Ridge of Goat Mountain. Follow the ridge to the summit (4,778 ft).
