Start at the Lake Washington Ship Canal on the Burke Gilman Trail and wind upward on city streets and many stairs, 302 stairs up, over 300 stairs down, to Fremont Peak Park and terrific views. The 4 miles could become 5 with a dash over the Aurora Bridge to Queen Anne. This urban hike follows Walk 2 in Seattle Stairway Walks, Fremont.
