Cheasty Greenspace is located on the east slope of Beacon Hill directly above the Rainier Valley and Martin Luther King Way. The greenspace stretches along a 1.5-mile north-south axis between S. Bayview St. on the north boundary to S. Angeline St. at the south extent.

Cheasty Greenspace is easy to access via public transportation from anywhere in Seattle.  The forest is located between three stations of Link Lightrail—Beacon Hill, Mount Baker, and Columbia City.  This park is also served by King County Metro Bus Routes  8, 36, 39, and 50.  Bus Routes 7, 9 and 60 also come within a few blocks of the park.

By car

Drivers to Cheasty Greenspace share parking with Jefferson Park, Community Center, and Golf Course along the West side of Beacon Avenue South between Spokane Street and Columbian Way.  Parking within the neighborhoods is both limited and in most cases regulated by the city.  If you must drive your car to the park, please plan to park in the public lot.
