Carr Inlet
Sea kayak on the inlet that extends northward between Key and Kitsap Peninsula close to Gig Harbor. In addition to varied shoreline, exploration opportunities include Cutts Island State Park, Minter Creek Fish Hatchery, and the tidelands of Burley Lagoon.

Access points include launch ramps at Kopachuck and Penrose State Parks, local ramps at Home and Wauna as well as an informal road end at Rosedale.

- The north-south orientation often results in rough conditions at the north end driven by winds from the south or southwest.
- The Wauna launch is often used as a base for wind and wave clinics.
- The Burley Lagoon is a 358-acre watershed located at the north end of Carr Inlet on the Key Peninsula.
