Anderson Island Parks
There are eleven parks on Anderson Island. Andy's Marine and Wildlife Parks are connected by at trail and include a forested loop and an ocean beach with tidal inlet. The Schoolhouse Creek Parks which includes Andy's Wildlife Park showcase the island's salmon restoration efforts.
Getting There
Take the ferry from Steilacoom to Andersen Island and then a short drive or bike ride to any of the parks.
On the Trail
Andy's Marine and Wildlife Parks
These two parks are interconnected via the Dewyer-Claussen trail. The Marine park has a one mile trail through forest to a beach and inlet. The wildlife park has a level 2-mile loop trail. Both have lovely forest and some boardwalks or stairs.
