American Lake
A well-stocked lake just west of Lakewood that's great for fishing and sea kayaking, or maybe both. Visit one of the parks on the lake's shore—American Lake Park, Harry Todd Park, and Shoreline Park. It's also home to our Tacoma Branch's on the lake sea kayaking class in spring.

Group size maximums do not reflect how course field trips are run (in smaller groups of students and instructors), but allow for course leaders to register the course in our system.
