A rare visit to Falls Creek Falls and majestic winter views of Willis Wall on the northern aspect of Mount Rainier. This strenuous trip is 3700 feet elevation gain and 9 miles (round trip) with 'up close and personal' interactions with a true northwest rain forest.

Various park and rides to accommodate attendees, then 7:30am at the end of the Carbon River Road (where it is closed to vehicular traffic and near the old Ranger Station/restrooms).

A rare visit to Falls Creek Falls and majestic winter views of Willis Wall on the northern aspect of Mount Rainier.  This strenuous trip is 3700 feet elevation gain and 9 miles (round trip) with 'up close and personal' interactions with a true northwest rain forest.

We will ascend Arthur using the north ridge that is adjacent to the east side of Falls Creek which means we will leave the Carbon River Road ~2 miles from where it is closed to vehicular traffic (near the old Ranger Station and restrooms).
