The Tacoma Narrows and Pt Defiance are always a special place to paddle but there is something magical about doing it under a full moon. We will see beautiful fall colors going south (and maybe even a whale!) with hopefully a cloudless full moon and the bright lights on our kayaks coming back. We will ride the dying flood to have a hot meal in a warm pub before catching the rapidly rising ebb back to our take out. Drysuit required. Coast Guard regulations for night paddling and links to purchase proper deck lighting will be provided upon leader approval. Boat launch fee applies.
