Hammersley Inlet

Sea Kayak - Hammersley Inlet

We'll meet at Walker County Park in Shelton at 0800 am to ride the tide to Hope Island and back. Without wind this is a fun trip, with wind getting home can be a work out. There is a carry to put-in and take out.

  • Sea Kayak III
  • Easy
  • Mileage: 14.0 nm

0800 at Walker County Park. There is a separate parking area down a drive to the right of the main entrance. It is "fake" locked. This relieves crowding at the main parking lot and is a shorter carry to the beach.

Come prepared to carry your boat to the beach and help others also.
