Doe Island

Sea Kayak - Doe Island

PNW paddling doesn’t get much better than this: a fast and fun ride playing through whirlies and rips with a relaxing night spent camping on lovely Doe Island.

  • Sea Kayak IV
  • Challenging
  • Mileage: 23.0 nm

TBA with leader's permission

I expect this sea kayak trip to have this difficulty and plan to paddle in up to these conditions (view the sea kayak difficulties definitions on our Activity Types, Difficulties & Prerequisites page):

  • Difficulty: SK III-IV
  • Wind: 0-15 kts
  • Waves: 0-3+'
  • Currents: 2.5-4+ kts
  • Distance: 20+ nm
  • Pace: current assisted

Water will be rough so good bracing skills, immersion wear and helmets required.  Camping and parking fees will apply.
