Mountaineer paddlers of all experience levels welcomed. The intent is to select a route that allows us to maximize the opportunities presented by wind, tide and current conditions, consistent with the skill level of our paddlers. We will launch in conditions up to, but not exceeding, the maximums stated above. Early in the summer it is not unusual to have evening wind approach the max indicated (10Kn). Consistent with your Mountaineer training, please do check the wind forecast for yourself on the day of the paddle and determine whether it is within with your comfort level.
