My boat, s/v Balance, is located at Shilshole Bay Marina - 7001 Seaview Ave NW, E Dock, Seattle, WA 98117. I’ll be meeting everyone at the E Dock gate @10:30am with a 11:00am departure returning 4:30ish. E Dock is located at the SOUTH END of the marina. Non-Permit parking is available in the first two rows next to the street. Street parking is also available.

STUFF Happens. If you have to cancel, please do so via email, svbalance2022@gmail.com no later than 24 hours prior to the Sail so someone else can join in. If you are running late the day of the sailing activity or last minute unable to attend, call or text me 206-660-0133.

NOTE: Space is limited. NO Show with no communication = Bad Karma

This being a training sail you will be participating in all aspects of sailing Balance. Helming, tacking, sail trimming, etc. and I will advise as needed.

Bring a water bottle along with snacks for yourself and, if you wish, items to share with the group.

Please pack items in a soft sided bag or backpack and refrain from bringing hard sided coolers as they take up space and are hard to store.

I have a limited supply of lifejackets so please bring your own if you have one. Sailing (or hiking/biking) gloves, sunglasses, hat, and sunscreen are always recommended. Please wear NON-MARKING shoes.

It will get cooler towards sun set so bring warmer clothes.

Since weather can be unpredictable at times watch for an email, text or phone call within 24 hours of the sailing activity for any possible changes in meeting times and or cancellation of the sail.

Please feel free to call me if you have any questions or concerns

Look forward to sailing with you,

Lani
