Swauk Forest Discover Trail just 1/4 mile off Blewett Pass at 9:30 AM. We will caravan to the trailhead at Haney Meadows with stops to bird and for flowers.  Carpooling from 65th Street Park and Ride at 7:20 AM. Other carpooling can also be arranged.

This site was burned several years ago and is recovering. We walk from Haney Meadows up to the 'official' Tronsen Ridge trailhead and enjoy views, flowers and birds along the way (the flowers are varied and splendid as are the views). Most walking is along an old logging road and is fairly well graded. Many endemics are found here including the fabulous Tweedy's lewisia.
