  • Pace: slow pace

Meet at 9:30am on Blewett Pass on hwy 97 on the right side at turnoff to FR 9716 toward Discovery trail.  We will caravan to the unmarked trailhead after milepost 171.  We will park on the left side of the road around a bend from the TH.  Be prompt.

There is no restroom at the TH.  No parking pass is required.

This trail is very steep initially, switchbacking back and forth until we attain a minor ridge.  It requires good conditioning.  Then we will walk flower covered ridges upward to attain the main Tronsen ridge.

Poles will be useful.  Bring plenty of water.  The creek is far below and there will be no place to get water on the hike.

An email will be sent out a few days before the hike with any updates or instructions.
