This is a Naturalist hike we will be taking  stops and time along the Traditions Lake and  Wetlands Trail  to identify the various flora.  This area of Tiger Mountain is a beautiful forest walk, known to be lush with ferns, mosses and often mushrooms.  We will explore the curves of the trees, the growth on the nurse logs and will do the hike at a slow pace.  If you have taken the Moss and Lichens class, please bring your book to help ID.  I will have a couple extra books.

Magnifying loupe if you have one.  Here is an example: https://a.co/d/81HuBdh  I do have a few extras

Please note: this hike will be led at a casual pace with frequent stops.  You may need an extra layer to stay warm, depending on the weather.  Hike will still go on in light rain, but be rescheduled in case of heavy rain.
