Naturalist Trip - Kachess Ridge

A steep ridge up takes you to Beacon Rock and lovely views and descend via.a longer and less steep route. Flowers abound on this trail, especially on exposed rock outcroppings. Birding can also be good along this trail.

Meet at the Kachess Ridge Trailhead at 9:30 AM. Carpooling from 65th Street Park and Ride at 8 AM.

Part of the trail on the way down may be snow covered. Poles are suggested.  The flower diversity is impressive, with a mix of west and east side flowers.
