Leader's notes

The stats indicated include an optional extension to McClure Rock. This depends on conditions, time, and group interest. Without McClure Rock, the estimated gain is 1,300' and about 5 miles rt. Ice axe and micro-spikes or crampons are required in addition to snowshoes regardless of whether we continue to McClure Rock.

Meeting place and time

Longmire, 7:30 a.m. We can carpool to Paradise from there. National Park pass is required. (Timed entry will not be in effect until May 24th.)
