A pivot from original plan for Hex Mountain to a snowshoe trip to see how conditions at the Pass are after the blizzard. Our goal is less a summit, and more to get out, stay warm, and get some exercise. If we get to Radio/Olallie Mountain above Rockdale Lake, or aim instead for Ski Acres Hill above Divide Lake, that would be fun, but do not count on both.
Details will be sent to participants in pre-trip email, where details on personal and group gear aimed at safety in the cold, will be discussed. Overall, we will aim for a “one for all, all for one” perspective. Hence, the smaller group size to facilitate consensus building.
Silver Fir Lodge at 8:00, will organize carpools from Mercer Island Park and Ride for those interested
