Intermediate Alpine Climb - Mount Deception

Plan C: Early season climb of Mount Deception.

  • Sat, May 25, 2024 — Mon, May 27, 2024
  • Everett Climbing Committee
  • Climbing
  • Intermediate Alpine
  • Adults
  • Technical 3, Strenuous 5
  • Challenging
  • Mileage: 35.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 8,000 ft

TBD

Sign up priority for Everett experienced Intermediate students or grads (current active volunteers) with previous high altitude experience and active climbing throughout the season.

This is going to be a very strenous carryover with two nights camping up high on the mountain (first night close to Pyramid Peak and second night around 12000ft or on the summit if the group feels strong and conditions cooperate). Great weather window and a strong group are a must.
