Sammamish River

Trip

Flatwater Packraft - Sammamish River

We will float and paddle the scenic lower Sammamish River as it winds it's way to Lake Washington under a canopy of trees, keeping a keen eye out for the elusive Green Heron, continue out the mouth past the airport, past the marina and take out at Log Boom Park.

  • Class I River
  • Easy
  • Mileage: 5.8 mi

Details to follow once registration closes.

The weather in November is a toss up. It could be warm in the 60's or cold in the 40's. Wind could be a big factor, particularly as we get onto the lake, but we will never be far from shore.

We will put in at Brackett's Landing Park in Bothell. There is street parking on the opposite side of the street.  We will take out at Log Boom Park in Kenmore.  There is a large parking lot.
