Day Hike - Soaring Eagle Regional Park

Soaring Eagle Regional Park sits above Patterson Creek on the edge of the Sammamish Plateau. Trails meander through mature forests, wetlands, and wildlife habitat. Included in this easy loop hike is a short side trip to nearby Beaver Lake Preserve. This hike is open to those who are fully Covid-19 vaccinated, including a booster. To be included, you must email a copy of your vax record to the trip leader.

Meet at 8:30am in the main parking lot of this King County Park, located at 26015 E Main Dr, Sammamish, WA 98074.

No parking pass is needed to park and bathrooms should be available.

Please note that my dog will be part of the hiking group (12 yo, 25 lb labradoodle).  No other dogs are allowed.

We'll make a clockwise loop through the park and, at the southern end of the loop, make a side trip to view Beaver Lake where we'll stop at Picnic Meadow for a snack or early lunch. There are new picnic tables at Picnic Meadow. Soaring Eagle park trail are multi-use trails; so, we may encounter mountain bikes, runners or horses.  Bikes & horses are not allowed at Beaver Lake Preserve.
