We will meet at the North Parking lot at Saint Edwards State Park ready to go at 9:00 am. Full details will be sent to registered participants in the Hello Hiker email. Restrooms are located near the lower parking area.
The goal of this hike is to work at a comfortable pace doing natural trail hill repeats.
Our expectations are that participants:
- Have read this posting completely prior to registering.
- Will read all communications that are sent out for this trip and respond accordingly if requested.
- Should be comfortable with the stated the distance, pace and elevation. We are approaching this as a conditioning hike and we may lean into the work and push ourselves a bit.
- You will be encouraged to be mindful and aware as we travel our trails. This is a beautiful urban park with a diverse forest system, and lake waterfront. We will enjoy our time in nature.
We are social, comfortable leaders who enjoy leading mindful, fun trips for participants who are experienced beginners or people who enjoy traveling at a more comfortable pace and are interested in the conditioning aspects that are offered on this trip.
If the above does not sound like you, it might be better for you not to register for this trip.
